How bad is lazy?
I'm not sure what 'wants to do x more on average' means here. The -10% work speed & extra energy seems fine.

Lazy are good in my opinion. The work speed can be compensated with an implant in the late game. The "wants to do X more on average" might increase the chances of random events on that crew person that on a global scale are inconsequential.

This is assuming the ship morale is not in the red.
Wants to do x more on average means:

- if you cannot provide her with drugs, alcohol and such AT ALL, then she will get a malus.
- if you can provide these to her, she will use them more times than others would normally, thus prolonged hangover, and not sure what happens with too many drugs (i forbid consumption for both alcohol and drugs and sell them:D)
- personal entertainment i think is the new facility.
- more games needs an arcade.

Overall it gives +10 energy to the character and reduces speed by 10%.
The +10 energy since you go for max zest guys is barely worth it. Since you can add an implant with additional energy.

The first two do more the drugs and alcohol can cause problems. (Binge drinking, binge drug useage?)
Do you know how bad the malus gets? I don't really want drugs or alcohol.

I am not 100% sure. But i think it depends on the hangover levels.
-8 seem to be for the normal hangover.
Drug useage no clue.

Also i am not sure if this drug useage only refers to the recreational drugs, or combat drugs and normal painkillers also apply. Since with painkillers you can also get your character a foggy( i think that was its name) malus and such. which provide further maluses.
With a lazy guy being able to drink and drug, i would say a -25-30 cummulative malus should not be impossible to reach due to his/her bad habits.
