Resources in Refinery/etc when it's dismantled/moved

I'm on my first 'major' playthru, after bunches and bunches of restarts. And more and more I'm refactoring and moving stuff constantly. I get that any building tools are automatically lost when dismantle/move. But there's other items in a crafting bench...

So what happens to those items? I'm particularly interested in partial resources. Like on a refinery, I assume I'd lose any/all progress toward the next item I'm creating... right? But if I dismantle say a pod bay, and there's partial items in that pod bay (like metal plates)... do I get those back?

As of 1.0 partial resources are kept when moving facilities, i haven't seen anything lost yet. I have no idea about crafting progress as i've never thought to check that. Grow progress is kept for grow beds, so it's possible crafting progress is too?

If it's something that can hold a lot of resources like an ore processor rather then moving say 20 ores, the extra ores are recrated and put back into storage.

On the same topic it looks like you can also move research structures (research station, research table) and it will keep the progress. I really like that plants keep their growth progress, great QOL feature.
