Crew going into Override Schedule on their own to go on forbidden station to maintain and starve

Alright, So I am building a big ship and it is almost done but not quite ready to jump. There is a station in the sector that I cannot abandon and salvage, so I have set it to forbidden to all but my dedicated haulers.
My maintainers, However, keep running over there and I find them when I get a "Starving" notice because they are literally in OVERIDE schedule and attempting to maintain everything and killing themselves.
Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

Hi there.

You can try selecting that station and from the lower left open the settings tab. In there is a setting for auto maintenance, try turning it off.
