The resolution for my game doesn't change.

Hey... me again... more problems with my $100 preorder of the game for Steam... Now last time the game was just stuttering and freezing up every couple seconds and was practically unplayable. That hasn't changed. But one thing I just noticed is that the display (fullscreen/windowed) or resolution of the game simply will not change. When I try to change the resolution to something else to anything else, it doesn't do it. It just stays the same. When I leave the graphics settings menu it just goes right back to 1920x1080. When I change my display to windowed from fullscreen, still no change. It just stays at fullscreen but the option selected will say windowed.

Any suggestions for fixing this? I've tried restarting my game, my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

Purge graphics drivers with DDU and reinstall. Then try again.

Okay so I'm doing it now. It seems self explanatory but I just need to confirm: on the DDU startup menu theres an option for Uninstall NVIDIA driver folders. It says not recommended but that /is/ what I want to do, correct?

It didn't work. Not surprised. Nothing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ works for this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game man. Wasted money, wasted time. Shoulda got it on PS4. Shoulda got the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PS4 like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good goy. Still freezing still stuttering after doing everything in the damn book and while everyone else is playing the game just fine and modding and doing whatever I'm stuck on this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mountain with these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ midget ninja bastards and the damned armed warrior.

This is probably caused by the same third-party software that is causing your game to freeze up.

If you're willing to install my mod, it generates a number of diagnostic logs. I would be happy to look at those logs for you and identify third-party software or parts of your graphics driver that you may not be aware are active.

The logs that would be helpful are logs/d3d11.log and logs/modules.log.

In the worst case, the mod can also be used to completely force any resolution on the game whether it wants to cooperate or not :P

I have it installed already did the whole Uncap the framerate, turn fixed timestep mode on and then set Special K's framerate limiter to whatever thing. Hasn't made a difference. I just tried to force override the game to put it in windowed mode and now its stuck in minimized and won't come up.

How do I get the diagnostic log? You just need a picture of it?

i know im late but i hade the same issue but i fixed it buy using the nvida app and changing the resolution there and luanching the game from nvidia and after thet i worked. sorry for mistakes english is not my native language

on mine everything has a yellow tint especially anything white in the menu or in game
