dlc biomes on open campaign?

hi quick question i tried an open campaign and it let me start in the dlc biomes despite not owning any of the dlcs. Bug? Feature? A canoptrix got into wiring somewhere?

No, it's by design, they decided to allow everything from the DLCs in the open campaign. The only thing you don't get if you don't own the DLC is the DLC story and unique maps that go with them in the actual Story campaign.
