Strikes to Bites - Upgraded Strikes should transform into upgraded Bites.
Upgraded Strikes should transform into upgraded Bites. I got the ? room of upgrade Strike and Defence cards, I took the option. I went to the next ? room and got transform all Strikes into Bites. I took it only to end up with normal Bites.

To be honest I have spent hours now trying to get past level 3 with the fighter but have not succeeded. I know I am not the best at this game but I managed to do it with the other two characters multiple times but not with the fighter. I feel the game is hard enough, I don't see this a suggestion as bad idea as I feel the fighter needs some buffing to be easier and on par with the other characters.

...Ehhh, how are Bites an Ironclad-centric element, or am I missinterpreting your phrasing?

As to how to Ironclad well: Unless you go with infinite Barricade, Demon Form and/or Corruption, your best bet is burst damage, which Ironclad does very well. Especially since Ironclasd can get back a few bad matchups by annihilating the good ones before taking any damage.
...I oftenmost go for Corruption and a ton of Skills, with a side of Demon Form if I am lucky enough to get one.

Personally I would claim that the Silent has the hardest time in this game, though mostly because she has one too many starting defences in her deck when two thirds of both Elites and Bosses of Act 1 punish turtling.

I don't remember getting Bites with other characters but if so, then their Strike equivalent upgrades should be swapped out for upgraded versions. The struggling with Ironclad was just a side story, maybe I should remove it but I was looking for help. My problem is taking to many cards and not getting a good synergy going. Thanks for the advice.

The point of my post is if swapping out cards you should get them upgraded equivalent for them, only if they were upgraded to begin with.

i agree upgraded strikes should be upgraded bites, i often pass up the bites for just that reason.

as for the ironclad needing a buuf i think is not ture. i think he is the easiest to win with he starts teh game with most of the cards you need to make strike deck and HE GETS TO HEAL which is so OP. hes the only one i could beat the transient with. id suggest just learn his combos a little bettter mate.

Ironclad is probably the easiest to win with, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥'s not because he starts with 5 strikes and 4 defends, it's because he's got the most broken rare pool with Corruption being the best card in the game by a fairly large margin and Dark Embrace, Feel No Pain, and Feed being ridiculously powerful as well. A "strike deck" is not even remotely viable against act 4 or higher ascension without a Feed and/or very defensive relic pool to keep it alive, since having lots of attacks in your deck generally leads to the most issues with consistent defense and getting scaling going in time (as powers are removed from your deck once played and skills generally either improve damage mitigation or draw consistency).

His starter relic and healing with Reaper are huge pros, though, yes.

My take is that when you exchange strikes for bites, it's because you're made a vampire and are learning a new way of fighting. When one learns a new way of fighting, one's accumulated skill in a previous, different way of fighting (in this case, upgraded strike cards) doesn't carry over. So, I don't think bites should be upgraded. If you don't take the bites because you've upgraded your strikes, that's just a choice you have to make as a player.
