Silent isnt ACTUALLY like that, they are just fun little challenges, and buying a Prismatic Shard shouldnt give you an orb slot the Silent does not have the default capability to use orbs. When i use a Prismatic Shard i am imagining Silent can use Sweeping Beam by channelling her energy THROUGH the Prismatic Shard. Each card is showing how she learns more ways to better harness the power of the Shard. Where does the left over energy from a Cold Snap go afterwards? The Defect has the capability to absorb the 'residual' energy and it continues to put in work but the Silent has a human(?) body there are no solar reflectors or whatever unless she learns how to use the Shard to inflict upon herself a transformation, but even then she needs to learn how to do that, having the Prism in your possession shouldnt magically give you an orb slot she needs to learn how to use the Shard in order to Capacitor a change in her body (turning her arm into an electric circuit or something, i dont know use your imagination).
It's a bad relic, but it's fun. And sometimes it gives you Echo Form on Ironclad. Which is about as ridiculous as you'd expect.
