Error: 50086-mw1 immediate disconnect whenever I join sessions or hunts
Edit: I fixed it! I turned off cloud saves in steam and enabled DX12 in game. I don't know which one worked, but if I had to guess it was the cloud saves. I'll leave this up in case anyone with the same issue comes across this post.

I moved, and got a new internet provider and modem. Ever since then, any time I join online I get disconnected within 30 seconds or so with the code in the topic. When I host, people disconnect as soon as they try to join (xxx has withdrawn from the quest).
Note I don't use mods.

I've tried:
port forwarding
reinstalling the game
wired connection
disabling steam overlay/big picture
updating drivers/windows
exception to firewall
restarting router
starting steam in administrator mode
lowering server pings per minute to 250
petting poogie
adding -nofriendsui -udp/tcp to advanced launch options

Is there anything else I'm missing that I could try? It's been like this for weeks, and I don't think a fix is going to come for me.

I turned them off for all of steam in the main options. Though I should note that I still get disconnects every now and then, but now the game is at least playable. I also know that on days with a lot of users, the servers kinda crap themselves out too so you may experience more disconnects than usual.

Is there any kind of fix for this yet? my friend and I are having serious i ssues where we will get disconnected while in the Gathering Hall, or we start a hunt, get about 3 mins in, and then everything just stops moving except my hunter, then it finally catches up with either myself or my friend disconnecting. We have tried the aforementioned fixes with no luck. Seems things went south after Master Kulve Taroth Patch

i have pinpointed its likely an issue with either A :steam servers or B a weird netcode change. using a VPN has fixed the issue for me and the only other time it has happen'd is when steam cloud is on, that is where my first Hypothesis comes from.

the second Hypothesis comes from the fact that a few people did get this error when this update came out. I dont know if its based on location or whatnot ( you would need to collect data for that)

The game doesn't use Steam servers, it's peer-to-peer. Perhaps your peers are just unusually terrible network wise?

Recemtly I started to have a problem with event quests being unavailable (no daily rewards either). However I could join the online sessions and do all the other quests.

Solved it with VPN. Start the game, create a session, then use VPN and remake a session. Everything will work from now on, you can disable VPN and continue to play.

I don't know what causes the problem. Called my ISP and they said that there's no issue or changes on their side. It should be Steam or Capcom's servers.

You are correct. But no it's a diffrent issue where it will disconnect no matter what within a certain time frame ( for me and the OP). For me it was between 8 to 10 minutes in a quest I would guaranteed get 50086-mw1 . Its specifically the one where you desync and all entities freeze. Strangely it only happens for me and others after the kulve update ,even stranger when I started using a VPN it stopped. I have no idea what this issue could be or what its origin is besides some weird netcode change, it seems there are some minority with this problem or a problem adjacent to it.

You used a VPN which means you used a route out that had less or minimal issues. So this might indicate that your outgoing traffic from your ISP to internet is not so great but your VPN provide seems to do fine. Maybe they are using a different provider to route your traffic so that's why you would experience the difference.

i would believe you. however these issues only started happening THE EXACT day the kuve/arc nami update came out. and im playing other p2p games WITHOUT the vpn and its running fine, in fact with those other games the vpn would be detremintal due to it creating more trafic and sending more info elsewhere. its ONLY this game that dissconnects me.

Whichever was released when Doom Eternal was released, so the one on March 20th? I think.
