I'll try to assist you if you can provide logs that Special K generates. Refer to the troubleshooting section of the guide for this game.
Aha, let's hope! There were suggestions that it sometimes caused launch problems, but removing it definitely didn't solve anything, haha.
Thanks for offering to help though! Logs are below;
dxgi - https://pastebin.com/2FymH77V
modules - https://pastebin.com/22ptPnmb
game_output - https://pastebin.com/j3AR3zv1
The only thing that sticks out is dsound.dll, my logs do not include that. But I don't see any third-party sound software in your logs.
Thanks anyway though, I appreciate the help and shall keep looking for a solution! :)
Move the NativePC directory outside the MHW directory to see if you can get to title menu.
From there, readd your mods one by one and find your culprits.
Like the reply below you said, it turned out the issue for me was the mods. I did a clean install of all mods and it worked fine.
This was the same for me too, not sure which mod caused issues, but I'm going to research and start making a list of incompatible mods or something of the sort, thanks for this
I though validating the game files would remove all the mods I had. Apparently not, it left that folder alone including my extremely out of date mods from the last time I played this game.
