Other than that, the hitreg seems to work consistently enough for everyone else. Personally speaking, I've saved a ton of clips where I thought hitreg seemed to fail me, but after playing the video back frame by frame, I'd realize that I would miss by a inch or two at the last second.
I wonder if the hitboxes in Sandstorm might be tighter to the actual character model than what I'm used to in other games. It seems like other games will grant me the hit if I was close enough.
I've seen youtube videos of it happening to someone else as well.
I will try to turn the overlay on and get some footage next time I play.
It doesn't seem to happen very often, at least.
