Either way, the least we're gonna get is limb dismemberment, blood pools, better looking splatters on the walls and screams from burning, dying and etc... There's still other things that could be added like splatters on the ground after getting shot or bleeding, but there's no info from the devs about it, so I guess we gotta wait and see if they ever get added.
As fergus said, it will be same as DOI, or better
inb4 people call me a baby for not liking my bodies in bite sized pieces instead of eating them whole.
(I'm joking.)
I do get tired of gore, for example in DOI, but it really doesn't bother me most of the time. Well, I'm even glad it's in, since it gives the maps this dynamic combat feel and actually shows, how big the battle was and etc.
Soldier of Fortune was the ♥♥♥♥!
It really was amazing, and if the gore isn't that ridiculous well we'll make it that ridiculous.... with the power of MODS.
Im not asking for soldier of fortune, I just think that if people want to make a game about war and guns and choppers and ♥♥♥♥ like that they should not be afraid of implementing realistic gore systems to back it up. Every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time someone brings up the importance of Gore for games like this there's a guy commenting exactly the same thing you just did: "It's not soldier of fortune, you want that go play something else, the game isn't about appeasing to gore fanatics", like, do you really believe I'm buying the game just for the gore ? Really ? If you don't like gore, there should be an option for you to disable it if you are too sensitive for that kind of stuff, a realistic gore isn't "over the top". Look at Verdun and you'll get the idea.
