Deep Rock Galactic
Are deeper dives and deepest dives real?
I was on the DRG wiki fandom and it was talking about deeper dives, and deepest dives, and how a deepest dive has never been beaten, and how it has like over a thousand missions, and if you fail it your account gets banned XD I cant believe its real... but is it?

"Deep Dives are a mechanic that was introduced in Update 25: Endgame - Part 1. Deep Dives are accessible to the player once they have promoted their first Dwarf, while Elite Deep Dives and Deeper Dives also require the completion of a Deep Dive (only once). Deepest Dives require the player to have completed at least one Deeper Dive. Note that only promoted classes can participate on Deep Dives. Deepest Dives can only be started if every player in the lobby has an intoxication of 90% or above...

The mechanic consists of four pre-seeded, difficulty-locked variants: Deep Dives, Elite Deep Dives, Deeper Dives, and Deepest Dives. Deep Dives and Elite Deep dives consist of three Missions each with two objectives each; totaling six objectives that must be completed to complete a full Deep Dive. Deeper Dives and Deepest Dives follow the same format, albeit with an increased number of missions - Deeper Dives typically have ninety-seven, though this is increased to 194 missions on Thursdays prior to 11am UTC, and Deepest Dives have two-thousand and eighty-three. Deepest Dives are only available on the first day of each month, but once started they will continue even once the date changes. Unlike in normal Missions, the Secondary Objective is replaced with another Primary Objective, and both Primary Objectives must be completed to move onto the next stage. Deepest Dives have an additional primary objective on every prime numbered stage, making a total of three objectives on these stages. All gear, ammo, HP, and mined Gold and Nitra will carry over from one mission to the next, and missions must be played back-to-back, making Deep Dives essentially one long mission. Deep Dives can be accessed through the Deep Dive Terminal located on the Space Rig. Players can view their quickest completion time for the Deep Dives at the KPI Terminal located in their Personal Cabin..."

Well that's your first mistake, the fandom wiki is full of lies, only use the Wiki.gg version. And no, deeper dives and deepest dives aren't real.
can gsg send a copyright takedown notice to wikia or something
say they don't have the right to use their art or screenshots or whatever
i don't know if that would work or not but please figure out something

I do seem to recall them mentioning this topic while replying to someone's question during a stream.

From what I can remember, they did ask the site managers if they could do something about this issue, and they said "no" .

Anyone correct me if I'm wrong, though.
fandom sucks, they are just stealing people passion works for ads money with no care of moderation. However, fortunately drg have a wiki for itself. Highly advise to use extension that tells you the link of wiki other than fandom, if there are alternative
At This Point, a GSG Dev, Dwarfurious, Ser Pounce, SOMEONE With Authority,
Needs To Add To the Pinned Post At The Top- Something Like-

Hey Everyone, DO NOT Go To Or Believe Anything On the ....Fandom.com/wiki....
Please Go To .....DRG/Wiki.gg..... Instead, As This Has Actual Information About the Game

(With the ..... Being the Actual Names Of the Sites)

Won't Stop ALL the Misinformation, But Should Head Off a Few People
With Serious Questions About What Wiki Is Real Or Not

Deepest Dives can only be run once, and if the players fail their accounts are deleted.
Collect 3/4 Powerstones
(The page contains a link to a fake mission called "Powerstone Harvest" and the preview image is very clearly just a Resonance Crystal someone greenshifted in photoshop)
If the Drop Pod launches when a Dwarf is downed, the player will spawn alive for the next mission, unless it is the final mission. In that case they will appear as downed on the end screen. This is not true for Deeper Dives or Deepest Dives, where leaving dwarves behind results in the game showing the team that dwarf being eaten alive by glyphids during the loading screen, with that dwarf being permanently removed from the lobby immediately after

It says 'Gullible' on the ceiling.
I dunno DRG seemed like the kind of game to have deep hidden mechanics, if this were any other game I wouldn't have thought twice, but from my experience DRG is a very well made indie game with lots of community involvement, lore, and easter eggs to find.

I don't believe everything I read online, which is why I came here to ask if deeper dives were even real in the first place.

thanks for the input, also thanks for the link to the official wiki.

There's a difference between hidden content (that this game doesn't have, by the way. There's lile, a couple rare items to find in missions that are just rare bonus rewards and maybe a thing or two in the lobby and that's it) and the kind of stuff the Fandom site is trying to get you to believe.

You really think they put an entire hidden dating sim mechanic in the game? You really think they made a game mode that takes weeks of continuous play to complete? What rationale is there for doubling the length of Deeper Dives for six hours out of the week, and where are all the threads from players confused by this? Where are all the players complaining their accounts got deleted after failing the Deepest Dive?

I'll say it again; it says "gullible" on the ceiling.
Since OP is the one who necro-ed his own thread:

"Deeper" and "Deepest" are a joke/reference to the (then) flash games which were called "Deep Sleep", "Deeper Sleep" and "Deepest Sleep".
Absolutely real. What else would you call what I did with your mom last night?
