Are all the DLCs just cosmetics?

I'll start off by saying, hey, if you're into cosmetics and that sort of thing, great, I'm happy for you, and I mean no disrespect against you or what you enjoy. However, for me, when I buy DLC, I'm looking for add-ons that add real content or expand a game in some substantial way. I really couldn't care less what I or one of my items looks like to me or others if it really doesn't act any differently. When I look through the long list of DLC for this game, I just see a bunch of cosmetic stuff. Keeping what I just said in mind, are any of the DLCs worth me getting, or would I be better off just picking up the base game and joining in?

It's all cosmetics. Any new content for the game was added in free updates

skullcrusher pack allows to drink skullcrasher ale(tiny melee attack boost during missions) for free

There's no need to lock gameplay behind DLC if you just give it out as free updates. DLCS are 100% cosmetic.

Stuff like this might *technically* correct but it's not actually helpful for new people.

exactly...its just misleading to someone who hasn't played. you get so much beer stuff you'll never use it all.
