Like I said FAR (which you can get in pinned thread) has autohide option he can even set up how long cursor should stay visible after you stop moving mouse and he can access those options in control menu (CTRL+Shift+Backspace).
Have a nice day sir :)
He already told you he's using Steam Link. You're insane if your solution is for him to walk to another room and move the mouse on a PC somewhere else. There's a very good reason I created that feature and put it in all of my mods.
I don't use Steam Link, so it's not something I think about. So yes, you're right that it's not a practical solution, and good for you for thinking about this when making your mods. But no need to be slightly insulting about it.
Why ? for people who do not use steam link moving the mouse once in their entire gaming session cant be that hard right ? especially not considering thats what you do 90% of the time on a PC anyways...
I for one think it was a nice suggestion since it works for literally everyone else and once outside of the window it wont appear again.
If anything is insulting its the fact that we have to use an unofficial patch to improve the games performence and get rid of these bugs.
Yeah, you can install FAR and then set (under Input Management / Cursor) the Hide When Not Moved option with a timeout of 0.0 seconds. This will permanently hide the mouse cursor for you while playing with Steam Link.
You'll of course have to do this from the actual computer because you need a mouse to use FAR's config UI :)
Moving my cursor off the screen won't do. It will always show up on the centre of the screen. Needless to say how annoying it is to see button prompts quickly changing between PC/XBOX scheme.
Thanks in advance.
Link to FAR including instructions on how to hide the cursor using it can be found in my guide:
