4K Support

I was going to buy this on release day but saw bad reviews about 4k not working properly. Is this resolved/what's the status on this?

Mouse, keyboard and game pad (XInput only). Screen resolution: 1920x1080. Depending on the monitor and PC graphics card environment and setup used, this title can expand its display resolution to 4K. However, please be aware that 4K resolutions are not officially supported. This product only supports MS-IME keyboard input. There is a possibility that other IME will not function correctly with it.

It works fine at 4K. But you'll need a GTX 1080 ot 1080 Ti and maybe turn down anti-aliasing, that's all.

4K support exists. Please note that you need to use the sticked mod FAR to fix resolution scaling if you intend to play in fullscreen mode.

A gamepad is highly recommended for the game.

I've been playing the game in 4k and it runs at a steady 60fps. Need the FAR mod and to turn down GI though, otherwise you won't be able to reach 60 fps. Good thing is that I can run reshade at 4k w/ AO + sharpen and it looks amazing and performs beautifully.

The caveat is that I use a 1080ti. The game is really GPU heavy for some reason.

I have a 1080 so thats not an issue, ill look at that mod, thanks. Seems to be hovering around 45, 30 in cutscenes, not a real bother.

Played it with an MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X @ 4K with average 35-40 FPS (max settings). GTX 1080 Ti is performing lots better.

It's hard as hell to play games with IME anyway. You shouldn't be choosing symbols from a list every time you press a button :) The game shouldn't care what word you're trying to type because you shouldn't be typing words.

Thanks for the info. I tried the mod but my FPS amount remained the same.

Did you lower Global Illumination through the control panel of FAR? There's a guide on how to do so over on PCGamingWiki[pcgamingwiki.com].
