Dunno what others but I like to actually play a role in Role Playing Game. Not be a random bystander number three.
Oh ... and the game is too easy (Zane lvl 50, Mayhem 3, TVHM, no glitches), not coming even close to UVHM in BL2 in terms of difficulty.
Given BL2 had a bunch of dlc and increases in level cap to mitigate a lack of content and a level cap of 50, it's somewhat safe to assume BL3 will be expanded in the same vein in time.
The largest pro was the secondary fire toggle and increased mobility.
Biggest con in my opinion is the vault hunters. I've played Zane and moze quite a bit and neither of them are anywhere near as fun as Maya or Axton.
As for story, it doesn't have a handsome jack tier villain but it does have Typhon and the long awaited return of eridians.
BL2 still reigns supreme in 2019 but the future's bright, the future's bloody crimson for BL3.
it looks weird, and its too big.
Reminds me of Pokemon, keep going back to gen 7 because the new games are just so bad. And gen 8 was the beginning of the end!
If it can't stand on its own merits without DLC, it's not exactly all good to begin with.
Anthony may be gone, but that doesn't mean the writing has improved. It hasn't. It's still bad, but you know Borderlands was never about story, yes? Of course you do.
That is all.
Gunplay is nice (love the weapon changes and sub-types).
Story leaves much to be desired (Calypso's are like store brand Diet Handsome Jack; constantly checking in and taunting, sure, but at least Jack was charismatic and you could feel bad for him in the latter half of his story. The Calypso's? They haven't struck a chord yet, as of Vault #2.)
I can't stand Great Value Claptrap for extended periods.
It has gameplay, but that's about it.
