SupMatto gone?

So, Y'all are probably WELL AWARE of the whole SupMatto situation. I'm not trying to drag this out into a long discussion with many agrees and disagrees, just some solid points. I've never really liked SupMatto that much (his content seemed pretty boring and uninformative to me) but his story was still kinda shocking. To be honest, this is probably an unpopular opinion, but i can't really agree with SupMatto on this case. He leaked stuff he wasn't allowed to, obviously, and the party who "attacked" him, may have responded a bit heavily and overkill, but he knew he wasn't supposed to leak that stuff. So, what are y'alls opinions? (Again, please don't go into stupid arguments with each other, because they'll lead to nothing but a closed discussion by either someone at valve or a moderator.)

My opinion may be cause some flame in there but i will tell it if you wanna know a different pov of the situation, supmatto did a bad thing and some illegal action, and 2k have done the easiest and less punishment method, sending those so called "goons" (just investigators that do their job legally) to talk with supmatto already knowing what he does (leaked/stolen/selled content)
and opted to just delete the discord and youtube channel (those was deleted by supmatto himself and NOT forced by anyone).
If 2k wanted to go full on and ruin his life they just sue him, or go trough courts for years maybe or worse the jail.
Problem was partially caused by twitch too but at the end is supmatto and his friends that bypass security thing on twitch to watch and take photo of private streaming to test all the vip points twitch points thing.

Well isn't that nice. They could have been even more vindictive but they weren't. What a lucky break for supmatto that 2K is full of such sweet easy going lads.

I don't know what really happened, both tell a different version and probably the truth is somewhere in the middle.

2K's method of shutting people down is awful though. They could have sent a mail saying "stop that or we'll take legal action" and he'd probably have stopped immediately.

Unannouncedly sending two lawyers to people's homes though? The purpose of that is to catch people by surprise, in the hope they're afraid/intimidated and--not being lawyers--talk themselves into trouble by trying to explain themselves under stress. The second lawyer is there so there's a witness for everything that could be used against him later. That's a f*cking d*ck move, but apparently that's how 2K rolls.

No intimidation, just talking, taking proof before doing something drastically like sue him, that's why investigators exists, i prefer the first method.
