FIX Bloodwing Glitch FIX [SPOILERS]

So for whatever reason killing bloodwing too fast or off-map causes him to glitch out and get stuck off the side of the map hovering in the same spot, I managed to free him like this:

Stand directly underneath him and throw a grenade at him, took a few tries and i think it wasn't the explosion that knocked him free but the actual unexploded grenade bumping into him, so try a grenade with long fuse time.

I actually died fighting bloodwing, saved and quit when I came back at the start I could shoot at him and cause damage to him from outside the arena, weird

I have experimented with shooting HER from where Modi is, she will not cycle through the elemental stages, so the mission can not be done that way. Even if you could do the rest from outside, there is that one last thing you must be there to do.

In Borderlands 1 Mordecai referred to Bloodwing as male. Then Anthony Burch came along and screwed things up.

I had at least 50 hours of Mordecai in BL1, and so I can confirm.

Bloodwing's species changes gender over the life time. Bloodwing was male in BL1 and is female in BL2. Lilth and Roland start talking about Bloodwing in the past and say "He wanted Mordecai to see him." Bloodwing also had eggs before dying.
