I've had this game in my list for a long time and thought it would be great on the Deck. Unfortunately there's the controller mode issue, and the community layouts I've tried don't really work for me. There have been some reports of random "Exception Access Violation" crashes that don't seem clearly triggered by anything. Our current theory is that they are connected with the music code, and can be triggered by a song nearing its end. Our suggested workaround is that you disable the music completely for now. The Crews Not Expendable achievement isn't firing for me after rescuing and "selling" crew members (not pirates or bodies). This has been going on throughout this run, and I've rescued crew via killing pirate ships, derelict salvaging, and distress calls with no luck. Anyone had a similar issue?...

THE FIX thanks to Cpt.Badger!! Indeed, as such - I think I actually found a workaround: 1. Do NOT turn gamepad on in the game options. 2. Use "Mouse + Keyboard" control scheme. 3. I always check back every 6 months or so to see if there is any updates on the horizon....or dare i say a sequel be discussed. Or even better that the game's reviews shot up and started getting the attention it deserved. A game I never wanted to end, hopefully there will be more one day.
