Very low fps from the start of the game ~30-40 fps. after open the map and build more ships, the lower the fps. Big battle in a large sector 1-10 fps. I have a good gaming computer (intel i7, 32GB ram, ssd m2, rtx 3080) everything should be at maximum and with good FPS. I tried reinstalling the game, reinstalling nvidia drivers, nothing helps. I really want to play this wonderful game, but with 1-20 FPS it’s simply impossible. developers please fix this problem.

When you will fix fighters? attack range is not projectile flying range

Wann werden die Fighters repariert? Attack Radius ist nicht gleich Projektil Flugreichweite.

> Remote managing the selected ship now requires the player to hold "I"
> Briefly pressing "I" while having another ship selected now just opens your current ship's management window again

This doesn't sound great. Can I make a small recommendation which might improve the usability? Maybe add another key-binding for this? E.g. leave 'i' as its current functionality, and add another one for opening the remote ships inventory.

This way it will be meatware compatible with the wired reflexes the older players have, and not hurt the new players.

-------

Also - on the topic of keybindings ... a 'full stop' on a separate keybinding (from reverse) would be soooo goood.

I've given up on fighters now entirely because (in moderate numbers, e.g. approx 100) they lock up my whole UI, and it stops processing key commands at all for minutes at a time. I'm literally playing the old 2.2 beta instead.

After the update, it began to constantly crash on the desktop. Mainly during the transition between sectors

Loads of crashing with this update when jumping sectors. I've no idea what I'm looking for in the crash logs but I see:
Entered exception handler
Thread 1 Error: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION

If you can enter singleplayer but your game often crashes to desktop on 2.4.1, please try this:

- Exit Avorion
- Restart your Steam Client
- In Steam Client, in your library, right click "Avorion [beta]" in your list of games, select "Properties". Under "Installed Files" click "Verify integrity of game files"
- Wait for the integrity check to complete
- Start Avorion

Hello dear!

I have a serious problem with low FPS in the Avorion (2.3.1 now).
Very low FPS. (Single player game). In start sector 30-50.... In Naonite/Trinium sectors with npc ships 10-40 FPS... Ships battle in big sectors 1-15 FPS... (battle in the sector with stations is just a slideshow ~1-5 PFS). With mods or without, no difference. Very low FPS.
I tried:
Steam Client, library, right click Avorion, Properties, Verify integrity of game files = all ok.
Low graphics settings.
Reinstalling the game.
Reinstalling Steam Client.
Reinstalling Nvidia new drivers / Reinstalling drivers after DDU program.
Reinstalling the game (older versions).
On gaming laptop and my PC very low FPS...
I think my PC is strong for this game and maximum graphics settings with high FPS.
Intel i7, 32GB ram, 2TB ssd m2, Nvidia RTX 3080 10GB.
I played Avorion before and don’t remember the problem with FPS, now i tried everything i could find on the Internet and nothing helped. New problem with game optimization?
How to play this wonderful game with normal FPS? Maybe someone can do something with this? Or help fix it if it's a software problem... I don't know what else to try...
I really love this game and want to play it again with normal FPS.
Please Please Please... Thanks...

@Serega GO

maybe if you want high frame rates you should try playing the game at not max settings in 4k resolution? (i'm assuming you're playing at 4k if you're bragging about your beefy computer stats, play in fullscreen on a lower resolution you'll see better results without losing much graphical fidelity.) if you're playing it on a laptop it definitely shouldn't have maxed out settings.

your ram and your graphics card aren't the problem, the problem is your CPU, an i7 on the lower end will bottleneck pretty hard with the calculations this game throws out, especially with fighter ships.

Hello!
I don't brag about my computer. (I don't have RTX4090, i9 and 64GB ram)...
I'm playing in fullscreen on a lower resolution (1920 х 1080), all graphic settings are at minimum, but this has no effect on FPS in the game. I tried different graphics settings, screen resolution and much more that is recommended on the Internet. It did not help.
I played Avorion before, I don’t remember that in a large sector in battle there was 1-10 FPS. Even on a gaming laptop it was fine at lower graphics settings.
I would like to draw your attention to the recommended parameters for the game on Steam.
The minimum processor requirement is Intel i5.
Recommended processor requirement is Intel i7 3.3 (I have i7 3.6).
There shouldn't be any problems with the game. If there is a problem, i think it is poor optimization of the game and not a problem with the processor. This doesn't happen in other games.
If you have information that this game has problems with i7 processors, please provide the source and I will check it.
