how do you make it so you can use more than 1 group of fighters i cant find aney itoms for it

Install fighter control subsystems. They're usually named "[number]-headed Hydra FCS" and give most of their utility when permanently installed. If you go to the hangar tab of the ship window and mouse over the warning symbol on squadrons you can't use, it says "Not enough Fighter Control Systems!"
