Game won't run @ 1080 or fullscreen/borderless in any res(AMD RX 5700) : "wglMakeCurrent(): The handle is invalid."

Got this error and the game wouldn't start "wglMakeCurrent(): The handle is invalid."

Upon second attempt to run game get a message saying

"We detected a crash during game startup. Blah blah drivers/mods the graphics settings have been reduced to minimum and mods disabled"
then the game runs with minimum settings @ 1280 x 720

As soon as I change the resolution to 1920 x 1080 & restart it does the same thing.

After fiddling I've observed game will run at any resolution as long as it's not fullscreen or 1080p

Hey, i had the same problem in a few other games.
In the end I found out, that my screen was the problem.
I had a tv connected which diplicates my pc screen.
When I remove the cable I can start it. Even connecting it after the start again isnt a problem.

Only when I wanna start the game while the tv is connected I get the error.

Maybe youve something similiar.

Same error here. Dual monitor setup, 1920x1080 on both. 120hz. Fullscreen on any resolution = blackscreen.

Ever find a fix or did you just refund the game?
