Material HP & mass
Hey guys I thought that higher level materials have lower mass and higher HP. But if I choose to build an armor block of, say, iron I see on the right side panel the exact same changes in terms of mass and HP as when I pick titanium or nanoite. I would expect a given armor block of nanoite to say, e.g +100mass & + 50HP but the same block of iron type to say e.g +120 mass & 35 HP. But I don't see that. Could you please explain? Thanks!

Are you using mods? The base game doesn't let you build armour blocks out of Naonite.

If that was just a hypothetical, however, first try adding an Iron block and then transforming it into the same block but made out of Titanium. The '+/-'numbers on the side aren't always accurate - only when the change has been made will it be 100% certain about the new numbers. The idea that 'higher-tier = lighter' isn't always accurate, but in this case Titanium is supposed to be lighter and stronger than Iron, so the same block should show a lower mass and a higher HP than its Iron counterpart. If it isn't, something's gone wrong.

@Khalunka yes, thanks, I ve Seen this, that's what I am talking about, that I don't see this effect with the +/- numbers on the side

@M oh sorry, yes, hypothetical, not using any mods. So the +/- numbers are not always accurate, hmm ok this explains this then I guess but I m surprised it doesn't work as expected. But will try your suggestion to see.

Something seems messed up, i don't get your results besides there's no naonite armor to compare to.

As example, using an 5x5x5 block:
Iron hull : 500 hp, 6.38kt, -0.24m/s deacc. Iron armor: 3125 hp, 10.36kt, -0.4 deacc
Titan hull: 750 hp, 3.75kt, -0.14 deacc. Titan armor: 4688 hp, 6.25kt, -024 deacc
Naonite hull: 1125 hp, 4.13kt, -0.16 deacc. No armor
Trinium hull: 1687 hp, 2.63kt, -0.1 deacc. Trinium armor: 10547 hp, 4.38kt, -0.17 deacc.

Yeah thanks guys I tried again and it works now, well ,still, sometimes it shows the wrong thing when I hit ctrl to adapt to the size of the hovered block but if I manually resize it it shows the correct thing again. Thanks for your time!
