Is there a setting in INI or Mod that:

enables me to toggle my weapons and mining laser? I would rather toggle than holding it down.,

you need to have sub systems that have auto turrets as an effect
once you do you go into the weapon select menu on the ship you have equipped and click the turret and press A to make it auto targeting
do keep in mind that the slots the turret takes up needs the same auto turret points for it
A.E size 4 turret need 4 auto turret points to it
another topic for mining/salvaging will not target resources that are 2 teirs above it
A.E nanonite mining turrets will not target xanion or above
defensive turrets will get the independent targeting for free
