Need to change Middle mouse button functionality for MAP PING

the scroll works on my MMB but clicking it does nothing. I'm really not wanting to buy another $80 mouse just because the middle mouse button doesn't work. However, I can't ping systems on the map and I looked at the layout menu and theres nothing for map short cuts on there. Is there any way to remap this function or am I totally screwed?

Its a razer naga. For some reason my razer cortex isn't registering it as a profile on their razer program (my keyboard is up there tho). I went into device manager and the mouse is supposedly working just fine but its not showing as a profile for razer.

I've had this problem in only one other game, and that was elite dangerous. Although I was able to remap all functionality related to the MMB in that game, so far I haven't been able to do so here.

Any help would be appreciated as google has yielded very few results

Ok, I derped on the device manager. The mouse is actually a logitech and I went and downloaded logitech g hub and sure enough theres the mouse so no issues on that part.

MMB still doesn't work and the program doesn't work for remapping MMB functionality to keyboard. So original point still stands, this just cleared up a red herring that could have thrown people off the real problem.

And yeah, I think I'm going to have to buy a new mouse just to be able to ping uncharted grids. #feelsbad

I have 2 hours until I leave to buy a new mouse. If anyone fixes this in the mean time to where I can simply rebind my key wins a butt load of points

So funny story. I'm emailing my wife saying I think I need to run to walmart and buy a new mouse and she's like "theres a box above the ferret cage with mice in it" and I'm like wha?

Go look and theres like 3 wired mice in it, one of which is the old naga I had. Turns out, all buttons work. Case Closed :D
