Crashing on rift missions

So, I'm venturing into the rift and doing some of the missions. The first few missions were fine but now, there's about a 50/50 chance that within about 10 minutes of entering the rift, my game hard locks. Everything freezes and, even after 5 or so minutes, doesn't recover. Luckily, when I boot back up, my ship is still alive, and it let's me hyperspace out of the rift, so at least I'm not losing my ship, but it's still very frustrating. I do have workshop items installed, but have tens of hours playing with zero issues in normal space. Is this issue a common one or am I the only one?

I've never had the game crash on rift missions, but it runs a lot more poorly - more lag, etc. It's a shame to hear that it's still an issue. I'll probably continue to skip ITR if that's the case.

Hi, I tried 2 Into the Rift Missions with a small ship. Both of them crashed with my ship resetted to normal space at my repair dock. (Galaxy hosted in local network, not singleplayer) I doubt that Rift missions are playable at the moment. Next time I try this, I will not be so disappointed and report the logfile to the devs.
