how effing cool would that be upgrade your tiny lil starter ship
i use it all the time while my other stuff is working
the ability to make it not so painfully slow would be cool or to be able to put a coupld addons in it

Amen to that because it is pretty useless by the time you are in nanonite.

Sounds to me like you should just make a small 1-2 slot ship for that purpose. Something literally 1-3 untrained crewman can crew fully. Hell, you can make something like that using a fighter blueprint.

Yeah, due to the found a ship increase thing it can be a pain in some cases, but having a little ship like that designed for speed works wonders.

i have made a little zip-a-round thanks =) i love it i dont even bother putting guns on it, but i did throw a couple miners on it with high efficiency. its nice now if there is a lot of ore i can T out of that one too and have it help out =)

I'd slot in a point defense for the free armed slot you have.

I actually love this idea. Let you slot in two size 0.5 turrets, change it at any time, change the design like fighters, upgrade the stats (perhaps limited to just speed), and keep it completely free to use. This gives us the functionality of a shuttlecraft, without being completely overpowered and game breaking.

Yup, and you'll actually be surprised how fun it is to use a 2-4 slot corvette ship in combat. You're not tanky, but nothing ever hits you.
