Tracking the Economy... Can I getta Spreadsheet?
In the course of trying to build bigger and stronger ships, I found that it is necessary to have a strong source of income from building supply chains and factories. What I have been running into is, at some point credits are either being removed from our alliance coffer or taken without explanation (most recently to the tune of 20 Mil). I don't know if this is a game bug or we have someone hoarding for personal use, BUT I have looked high and low for a way or MOD to track not only Credits but materials used by stations to determine where the money is going.
Is there a way to track materials, costs and/or purchases by stations? Or maybe a server/client side API that would be able to see where the money is going? Just as a side note: we seem to hit a certain thresh hold of credits (between 20 and 50 Mil) when the losses start to rear their ugly head. I understand that stations will need to buy the raw materials to make their products and by no means is our production chain complete from start to finish, but we are producing the most costliest of items to feed the next level of factories and still seem to be losing credits all at once... in other words there is a build up then a dramatic loss with no explanation.
The Short question is, is there a way to do a cost analysis on the stations and track the money?

Dunno, though supply chains don't feel too necessary for me. One person can make 100 million in like 1-2 hours of pirating cargo from a hostile faction. Making the supply chain is fun, but inefficient timewise.

=/ I guess I'm just too much of a numbers guy...
I guess I only can recommend the X series for you. And if you're numbers guy and came across Avorion I guess you already played X

Please, how does pirating work?

I have been doing Mining/War Robots gathering missions for hours and only have 18Mill ;(

I'm in Xanion sectors

The last few posts detail it.

Yup, the above link has the information you want. You don’t need to do missions, just go to a faction that dislikes you, find a sector good for pirating and stock up by destroying the incoming cargo ships. You’ll want a massive amount of cargo space, whether that is just by adding a ridiculously huge cargo bay or having a fleet of cargo ships. If you want further explanation than what you find on that thread, just ask.

UPDATE: Whereas I started with Tier 3 Factories then tried to backstep feeding them with factories building the most expensive parts (not all the parts just the most costly) to no avail, I found this video that has since grossed me over 500 Million credits passively:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pr-Vfe6MSJE

I also got rid of 2 Tier 3 factories (Drone and Laser Compressor) that were the first 2 that I built. I found 3 sectors next to each other and 2 sectors that were not too far away, that had Claimable Asteroids (multiples in all 5, some had 3 and the others had 2 at least) that made it possible to create every mine except oil. This was a game changer for me as the credits rolled in and the only outlay was the crew pay.

I still would be interested in the ability to track the money, but I am happy that the economy is now moving in the right direction. =D

Thanks guys, pirating worked like a charm.

Now I can afford some better turrets!

I believe either the server logs or client logs show all money transactions
