Build any consumer station and loot its cargo, its all FREE. Research stations have three types of accellerators that sells for, up to 150+ thousand each? Take all the cargo and go sell it at a npc station. Maybe...if enough people do it, might be incentive for the dev to FIX it in a patch...for more details read my earlier post on broken consumer stations.

The station should be using your money to buy the goods from NPC traders in the first place, then you can pick up the goods for free and sell them at a higher margin somewhere else.

I loot the faction's shipyard of all its cargo, worth several times more than what's ever in the vault. Roughly 10 mil per hour. Depends on what traders give really pretty random

so i first i explore a lot of sectors i make sure i can carry all types of loot via the cargo licence in those sectors .. i also try and find a hidout station in a nearby sector ...

once iv done this
i go to a faction 1 that has no other factions near it i try and find a sector in that factions area with loads of stations like equipment docks turret factories research stations etc ... i start attacking their ships and start mopping up all of their ships looting everything .. every now and then a group of cargo freighters spawn in and have 100s of mining robots accelerators etc for the stations 100,000 cargo can be filled rather quickly doing this .. i make sure i dont damage any stations and only the cargo ships headhunters etc and make sure i completely destroy the cargo ships so i collect all the loot in their cargo holds

once iv had enough i jump away and head to the hide out i dont sell them anything and only spend a little money unbranding the goods that the game considered stolen which isnt that much in terms of %

i then head into the friendly sectors i have cargo licences for as i nodoubt picked up dangerous cargo etc .. and i sell it to stations ..

i spent about 2 hours today doing this and earned 400milion .. this was around the core systems a dominion hates the heck out of me because i keep attacking their cargo ships

and because the game is not like X games with persistant universe ... avorion spawns ships in and does so without any limit so your free to kill them all without feeling like your reducing the living universe like you do in for eg the Xgames .. where flying into argon prime on X2 and destroying all the ships can stop the entire economy from working in the whole universe all sectors

Funny, cos you can make 6mil in about 3 minutes just buying and selling with the advanced trade module...
OR , be a pirate and loot cargo ships.
I made 50mil from 1 cargo ship, regularly get mils from them.

10mil an hour seems reasonable given whats possible :D

last time i looted one research station, i made 150 million, can only loot it periodically and the amounts vary, depends greatly how many accellerators were given to it. it only require me to transfer and sell it to a npc station. shipyards are about 10-35m, research stations can vary 15-200 million, haven't done any of the other "consumer stations", don't have to, research are the best, 2nd would be military outposts, they are pretty compettitive with each other when raiding their trade ships.

I haven't built a military outpost, assuming they're bugged and exploitable too...

Kill then scavenge the remains and then loot. That is pretty much the best way to make money. Get back in town and sell the loots you got and the resources you dont need. I do it with a friend. He scavenge and i hunt. We can get more than 200m per day eazily. Tho i encourage people to trade material cause when this game will have 100+ player server, delivering stuff fo other will be payful.
