And you will have to pick it up like a module after you destroyed the last pirate.
Then like, 5-10 sectors later(very close to where I rebuilt my ship and got Naonite knowledge) with my new Naonite ship I got the Trinium knowledge from some other pirates that were basically the same 'level' as the ones I got the Naonite from, there were even some Trinium asteroids in these sectors.
So not sure, seems like you have to be basically inside Trinium area before Naonite drops???
-Adjusted building knowledge drop (and mission) to be more on par with actual material spawn
out of curiosity, do you recall about how much you had to pay for it at the shipyard? I honestly forgot that was even possible.
I can see why you would want to find it in pirate drop! Well all I know is the current test server has it fixed or the drop rate is better, so that should roll out soonish.
