Is something bugged with the transporter blocks? I have both transporter blocks and transporter module installed, maybe it is preventing normal docking?
I've tried removing my transporter blocks, and it still shows "docked" when I'm close to the station but still cant trade. Cant remove the transporter module without a module merchant or whatever, and dont have one of those nearby..
Proper docking and trading of goods or purchasing of modules was impossible until both Transporter Blocks and Transporter Module were totally removed from the ship.
This is unfortunate as it makes mining fighters impossible to use, and of course makes transporters useless overall. Would have been nice to not have to dock super-massive late game ships, but oh well.
Guess I'll come back after some more patches.
That’s the only thing that I can think of that explains it.
I'm pretty sure that in the early game you can still click the trade button even if you can't buy anything, it's strange that the button is disabled.
Would it be possible, that you send me over some screenshots? I tried to reproduce it, but it works fine for me and I can trade. It would really help! :)

This was the worst sort of face-palming user error, it has been so long since I played that I forgot the menus scrolled with the scroll-wheel. Just needed to scroll down.
It is a bit of a questionable UI element, there really isn't any visual indication that those menus need to scroll or that there might be more unseen options below your view. I think its pretty traditional to have some sort of vertical scroll-bar for situations like that?
Anyway, thanks for looking into it, sorry for the false report.
