Edit: cant post full link all you have to do it click the coaxial turrets on the right hand side menu and it has a bunch
In case it wasn't clear you can't convert normal turrets to coaxial ones. (unless there is a mod that does it im unaware of)
You can find the values in the Turretgenerator file in Avorion->data->scripts->lib
That would be a waste of 275million. Thats not how the research works
Go buy the cheapest railguns you can find, and build a research station right near 0,0
Research is just a new random roll for items, the only thing the base items do is determine the rarity and weapon type. It will increase the tech level to the stations tech level location.
The increased tech level is what matters the most. It will allow them to be coaxial and gives them a larger budget for stats. It does not mean it will roll a good weapon.
i almost cried at this lol. atm best guns i have in my game are 76 million a piece. i cant even stomach the thought of people turning these into a research station and getting glue back lol.
You could Use the following mod: https://www.avorion.net/forum/index.php/topic,4595.0.html
called: Weapon Engineering (Turret Editor)
Thanks, I didn't realize it had been updated. The forums seem to suggest its not working but I don't have an issue with it on the beta branch.
