Hyperspace cooldown
I have a fleet of 4 ships. 3 of them have a hyperspace cooldown of 75-90 seconds. The 4th (modified "Lady of Adventure") has a cooldown of about 8 minutes even with a hyperspace core. I have access to trinium level technology. How can I get that 4th ship to keep up with the rest of the fleet?

add a Hyperspace upgrade with 90% of cooldown, for example. The time of cooldown will be ~48s.

Its the jump cd power draw, 3.15 GW or higher if the said ship was larger.

Slap on some decent sized gen blocks and a gen mod.

Get the artifact from Botan, makes the cooldown basically nothing for me.

Ever since "permanent" mods got introduced, the only hyperspace cooldown mods I've seen have required making the mod permanent. Even then, the amount of cooldown hasn't been especially exciting. This change has kept me from playing. It pretty much breaks the midgame.

You can use more than one. And really, it’s not that big of a deal unless you’re the type who wants to just click through and be done.

Sorry I confused myself a bit before and deleted my last reply to this. "Permanent" mods can be removed near equipment docks without destroying the mod, so I'm not sure why something like that would prevent you from playing. It's just a mechanic to stop hotswapping mods. It's definitely a confusing system that needs to be explained more in-game, and have a better term than "permanent" used for it. Thinking it's actually permanent and there's no way to get those mods back or switch them when you need to would certainly make the game seem punishing.
