Report a translation problem
1) Put big guns on it but "disable" them, by assigning them a hotkey and then pressing that key to turn them off.
2) Place an escort ship in the same sector with big guns
Either works, but yes the special Pirates (Prosomething) will attack you if you have a red and maybe even yellow indicator at the top of your screen. They will also warp with you to other sectors and hunt you down to kill you.
The miner got 2 long range cannons and 2 salvaging turrets and how do it work ? The cannons are set on AUTOFIRE and set on key#2 It salvage while the cannons focus on enemines only :)
So get some independant targeting weapons for the salvager.
Guess that is how the AI works in this game...... Looks like i will be the only faction in the game with this AI behavior evetually. Not what i want at all but hey the AI on my ships seems decided to screw everyone over.
