Asteroid mine not selling stuff?

I made an oil rig mine and it's producing oil and has a ton of it stored up. Problem is it's not selling any of it. I made sure to put docks all over it so what gives? Am I missing something?

You have to tell it that it can sell to places (so it doesn't sell when you want to use the goods). There is a gear / config icon next to the buy/sell tabs.

If there is a place in sector it can sell to, you can add some hangers with cargo shuttles and pilots, and it will ferry the goods. Otherwise it will require ships to dock with it so make sure to clear some paths through the asteroids.

I checked "sell goods to others" and "Actively sell goods" but nothing.

And how do you get fighters onboard a station?

I haven't used one myself but could it be something to do with crew?

Transfer them from your ship. Get within 0.02km and then go to "Transfer Crew/Cargo/Fighters" and transfer some cargo fighters you've made/purchased.
