I'm really confused as to why this is the case.
Read the Patch notes concerning the mining update, should clear things up.
Also, the space ores take up is about the only thing right with this largely unwarrented/unnecessary addition:
So far, each ore seems to only take up 0.04 units of space.
You have to find or make one.
To be clear since everyone seems to be getting me wrong.
I was mining...without R Mining Lasers and i was ending up with a small amount of RAW ORE that i was unable to pick up.
I wasnt scrapping ships or anything like that. Since rebooting I have not experienced the same issue again so im not sure what the deal was before.
