Founding Ship Costs

I am adding my 7th ship to my current fleet and I am now required to spend 500 Naonite on a small block.

I assume this is to create some sort of difficulty to prevent players from amassing giant iron fleets from the start of the game, but what if that is someones interest? It was my assumption that this would only occur via drone ship founding but it also seems to occur at Shipyards.

Would anybody know a work around to this issue or am I stuck just racing center till I bump into Naonite?

You have 6 ships. Surely you can just build a massive ship from all the iron you are getting and head off to get naonite, trinium, and xanion.

Eh, its less about what you can go do and more about what you want to go do. Personally, I'd love to be able to have hangars and torpedoes available in the iron tier areas, alongside other things only available later on. There's something fun about no shields fighting and I think it'd be cool to be able to stay out there for awhile. Depends on how you choose to play.
