Asteroid mine not doing anything?

Hey there,
so I've build a coal mine. All upgrades, built enough docking ports, cargo etc. Even a hangar with cargo shuttles (don't know if it was needed), crew+captain, set and hoping for income!

Well, it does nothing. Not really.. It's exchanging mining drills and that stuff, produces coal.. But seems to never sell it. Did I do something wrong?

I've set it to sell and call a trader if cargo is full. Works so far, but like I said, no income.

What sector is it in? If it wasn’t put in a sector that already has traders, none will come.

Maybe that was the case.

Did another mine, this time Alu. (multiple stations nearby want that stuff) .. worked for like 1hour, ceased it's selling after that, crew still wants to be paid (lol).

I have no idea why that is happening

unsure what all you have but main things are a factory and cargo.. then just set the sell price lower then the other stations and you'll get a non stop sell a nifty way to get creds periodicly..however sometimes this can sometimes cost more to maintain if you dont got a good enough production and cargo storage.. undercut other stations by about 15% and you'll be able to afford it and get a profit.

Price is set to -21%. Nothing happening. "Funny" thing is, it stores around 12000 Aluminium, sometimes it got less, so I assume it got bought, but I cannot notice any income.

ah.... Al isnt really used much thats why your not selling much of it even with it at that % try oil gold or silver those are the money makers as they are used it alot of things... also ice mines and various farms are worth a bit but farms require materials which it can buy but it balances out in the end

hunt pirates its the fastest way to get creds that or get a trade module and find a good trade route..
