Set new home sector?

Is it possible to change my home sector? I thought I saw somewhere this was possible but can’t seem to find it again now even after searching. I’ve moved rather a long way from my home sector and am pretty familiar with all the areas around me and don’t want to end up hurtling back to the beginning if I end up out of my depth!  I currently have 4 ships in a mini fleet, but I think I’m going to do another one as an explorer, so specifically made for long range hyperspace jumps and such.

you can set your reconstruction site at shipyards but its quite costly

I'm in creative mode anyway so that doesn't really matter :) Can you only do it at a palce where there is a dock or shipyard then?

Yes, only at shipyard or repair dock. And only if faction standing is "admired" (or maybe "excellent")

Ah, that makes sense. Great, thanks :) I'll try it out when I can! I have a thing for Star Trek ship designs so all my ships looks like Starfleet ships. haha. 3 of them I got frmo the workshop and just messed around with. The one I've done isn't amazing. It's a bit too heavy and slow but I'm still figuring out the systems. I think I'm going to make a U.S.S. Discovery as the hyperspace ship, with mucho hyperdrive systems, that will make sense to anyone who's seen the new show :0
