I'm running with a Intel HD 4000 and it works on my system. I am also running with OPenGL 4.0 drivers. Try updating your system to the newest drivers you can get. Perhaps that could be the issue. More information though is needed.

It's Intel. Intel's onboard cards do not fully support OpenGL 3 and OpenGL4, while Intel prints on the box the cards do.
Also Intel has stopped support for drivers of older onboard cards. If you bought your computer with WIndows 7 you may not ever get a Windows 10 driver for that card.

I honestly don't understand why people think games should support onboard graphics chips. They were never ment to play games, run an OS and maybe some basic web browsing and text documents...... But almost no game supports them.

Games require OpenGL3.
Onboard cards support OpenGL3.

With an onboard card you don't see 200 FPS at the highest settings, but the card does support OpenGL3.

Intel cards are an exception. They do not fully support OpenGL3, despite Intel's claims. While you're eating bluescreens Intel's not going to repair it.

In a word: ignorance.

Back in the days building a pc gaming platform was part of the pc gaming community, nowadays a lot of people care nothing about hardware and have no clue on how it works (thanks, console peasants).

I wonder how many negative reviews across many games are due to the fact that people try to run games with potatoes or vintage computers, not to mention cheap laptops.

This is the issue. You understand the specs, but the parts inside the box don't follow the specs.

Is people trying to game on regular computers with onboard graphics a new trend? I just don't get it.
