Bottan Quest... Smuggler Faction

Not looking at guides, I shot the first smuggler I ever saw out of space... Now if I attempt to do the Bottan Quest, Bottan only says "Not You Again, I,m Out of Here"... Is there any way of completing this quest now? Do I need to hang around the smuggler hideout hoping for an alien raid or 20 to get the faction up enough for him to speak to me?

Nah but u are missing the 2nd part of the quest i guess, as u aint surpose to talk to him, but kill him :-)

Ty! I killed him, but he did not fell anything interesting.

To find the friend you first have to be ripped off by him, I can't get to that stage because he won't talk to me... Oh well, time to reset my character.

As long as you can GET bottan, you can just ram him to death.

the mission goes.
smuglers, deviler stuff to bottan, and he rips u off.
now go to friend (point should show up after u do)
talk to friend, about bottan, he gives u quest to find stuff, find the stuff return, talk to other friend, there is now 2 or 3, to get a item.
now do a smuglers quest agin.

You don't need to reset your character. You just need to find the original mission again I believe.
