I could mix a bit of anti-shield and anti-hull weapons in the mix but I find that using top of the line salvagers on hull is more versatile and shields well... I have yet to find a ship that withstands my 20 lasers long enough to warrant a change. The only annoying nuts to crack in that regard are dreadnought level ships but they do ♥♥♥♥ for dmg so...
And with a personal shield that have nearly +300k hp and fast regen, I can sit and watch the whole world burn :) I use Xanion(Or whatever it's called)
I fly around the Galaxy center ring, can't enter yet.. but I collect tons of materials with the salvaging lasers after the enemy is dead.
Why wait until it's dead? Salvagers are brutal against unshielded targets. Since it's easier to find +unarmed upgrades, you could 5-6 good anti-shield guns and use 30 salvagers to rip ships in two.
I was going to divide those turrets into 3 ships but the sight of a tiny corvette murdering groups of ships four times its size is just hilarious.
I currently use heatseeking Rocket Towers. 180k omicron. I just have to press R + a few times left click (+repeat point 1 and 2) to wipe out a fleet. I dont have to aim or look at them. The shots are homing missiles.
so each turret factory is different in the stats and number of materials required then???
Yeah crafted turrets can get pretty damn ridiculous... Just shop for them though, most turret factories have pretty bad setups, you have to look to find something crazy. The closer to the center you are the better the turrets too.
Getting the mats is a PITA, but it's totally worth it.
I did that in the start of the game.
But I am lazy, so i let the autoattack handle my dps :) + I found a sweet Chaingun that starts attacking at 11.x km :)
