EDIT: Hey. They finally made the EULA true. I think Kaldaien maybe will mod the game now that it doesn't have a empty EULA.
I would recommend that you put it in a thread with a list of mods, or Ina site specialized in that. Nexus Mods for example.
I first download and install the SKIM64. At that time, it worked perfectly.
Well then, I changed to text branch (and at the same time, I changed the language from English to Chinese). After that I cannot open the game anymore even though I uninstall the "Fix". (it pops a warning that the game stop working)
And if I install the 'Fix' again, the game cannot open and crack with only a warning tone.
How can I fix it?
Amazing work, thank you. ;)
Notice that he bought the game first. Already has his legal copy, and the license with it. Hacking that legal copy does not require him "stealling" another licence.
All I needed to do was ask someone to checksum the DLL for me and tell me the file structure :) The rest can be done using standard software testing procedure even without the real thing.
In fact, since the fake steam_api DLLs never go the full distance and fake DLL version info, I could just use Windows' version API to determine all of this without a checksum at all. I'd rather not do that though, I like blacklisting specific known-bad DLLs rather than casting a wide net that might trigger a false-positive on some legitimate steam_api modification that I can't think of...
Also now that the Nintendo Switch is being scalped at such ridiculous prices, I won't be playing Zelda anytime soon... gives me a bit of free time :)
I need to see your log files. logs/tbfix.log, logs/d3d9.log and logs/modules.log
problem solved~
I just delete these three log and it works again~~
The Steam client is probably the actual problem.
Yes! Thanks, that's great to hear. I have the game on PS4 and love it, but the framerate is a bit flaky at times. I'm going to get the PC version eventually, but the locked 1080p resolution is really turning me off since I have a 1440p monitor and was expecting a PC port capable of 4k resolution(I like to take high-res screen captures). People over on Reddit were complaining that since the game uses Denuvo, modders wouldn't be able to do anything about the locked resolution because of not being able to hook anything to the .exe. I''m guessing these people were just attacking Denuvo and don't really know what they are talking about right? Also, is it possible to unlock the camera? The camera pans off to the side when the distance is set lower, if you go all the way down Yorha 2b is off screen because it goes off to the side instead of staying centered.
I'm labeled a shill and any number of other equally stupid things whenever I attempt to clear up the Denuvo misinformation, so I've basically stopped. People can go on thinking whatever they want. There are, at least, a few people willing to question conventional (wrong) wisdom and I'll be happy to explain to them what Denuvo means.
Regarding the camera, that's more of a gameplay level thing than engine. It's not outside the realm of possibility, but most of my mods start at the extreme opposite end (driver-level) and then move closer to game-specific stuff as they progress. It's very easy to fix resolution issues working this way, but stuff such as camera collision detection, etc. is a different kind of mod.
Fortunately, UWP games tend to exist solely on the Windows App Store, and by the time a game reaches Steam, it's a normal Win32/D3D game.
