Depends on your reading speed. I think it's closer to 30-40 hours, including alternative endings.

I spent 52 hours on a recent playthrough. That's 100% completion with a walkthrough, with automatic text scrolling.

I'd say ~25 or so for one playthrough. And you will be doing more than one for 100% completion, or using multiple saves.

I have a question. After you complete 1 ending, do you have to start the VN all over again? How does it work? No spoilers please.

Yes, either load a saved game or start a new one, but you may skip all dialogues you've already seen, game keeps track of those.

You have two options:

1. Skip the dialogues.
2. Load the save games from latest branching points possible.

Ah, that's good to know. Because certain VNs (like An Octave Higher) explicitely require you to start a new game (instead of loading a save state) for certain choices to become available.
