Achievements not unlocking

Hi everyone,

I understand that some of the ingame trophies aren't relevant. However, the actual trophies that are on steam aren't unlocking for me, I'm at 0/86 and on Chapter 3..

Please could anyone advise?

I noticed that the linux build does not trigger achievements. You will have to launch the game on windows to get the achievements.

I was halfway through the game on Linux. Installing the game on Windows and just booting into the title screen was enough to get my achievements retroactively. The game remembered my progress from the Steam Cloud. I did not have to open a savegame. Guess I will have to repeat this procedure after I finish the game on Linux.

Just adding my data point... I'm using Steam on Linux (not Steam Deck) and I use Proton Experimental as the default compatibility layer, and I noticed none of my CrossCode achievements were sync'd with Steam.

When I switched it to Steam's vanilla Proton 8.0 all of my achievements sync'd as soon as I loaded CrossCode to the title screen. Proton 8.0 is the latest non-GE, non-experimental, non-beta version of Proton available at this time. I don't know if it would have worked switching to any other version.
