As those questions tend to come back quite often, despite the FAQ highlighting the fact that CC won't be doing any other re-imaginings, and to change the way those topics are moderated, this new thread will consist of a central discussion around those topics.

Any other threads on this subject from here on out will get merged with this one.

Other Half-Life games (Blue Shift, Opposing Force, etc.)

I'd like to ask if there is any ambition to recreate games like Half-Life: Blue Shift or Opposing Force in the same manner Crowbar Collective recreated Half-Life by introducing us to the wonderful Black Mesa game.

The hl1 expansions

Will we see anything official for the hl1 expansions, like maybe in the future we will get a black mesa engine opposing force and/or blue shift

Can they do episode 3?

Looks pretty good maybe they can take over the franchise.

They going to be doing their own projects. There are already others doing Episode 3 such as Project Borealis and Boreal Alpyh.

I'm for it. They might even do a better job with a sequel than Valve did with that stupid VR HL game.

Alyx is more of a prequel, as it happens before Half Life 2.
It's a shame though that it is VR, not everybody has a system capable for it and has the money to fork over for a headset.

Well at the end of the game It looks like we'er finally getting half life 3. Maybe in 12 more years.
