This is the PC, do whatever the hell you want with your games, nobody cares (as long as you actually buy said game) :)

No, they will not ban you.

Generally speaking Steam doesn't care as long as A) you buy the game
B)The company that made the game doesn't complain
And C) you don't cheat in or hack online content
Though often the latter is ignored until it threatens their sales or a lot of customers complain.
found a bug in the farplane editor. the thing call battle editor will not let select lulu character to edit
lol ok but is that REALLY problem though? I mean I don't know about YOU but I almost NEVER use Lulu. hahaha:steamhappy:
Newbie question here -> how do I apply the changes I make in the Farplane Tool? There's no save button. So when I load my game where I have 9 Gil and change it to 99999, nothing happens.

*Note -> I only downloaded the "Download the latest release".

I didn't know this until I figured it out on my own. Be sure to press Enter after you input the amount of gil you want.
Also figured it out after failing once or twice. Every value you change needs to be confirmed by pressing Enter. Only then the change has actually been made.

On the note of cheat-related bans; cheating is pretty much a-okay in my eyes on any type of singleplayer. Whilst it ofc no longer gives you the experience you were meant to get, it's your choice which doesn't impact anyone else, and enhances (or diminishes) only your own game experience. So generally no one thinks to ban you for this, either. Although it's usually not encouraged, still.
However when you play online, you're often interacting with other players. Cheating could give you an unfair advantage over them. As such, you're most likely to get banned on online games for it.

So basically, they couldn't care less if you used this to change tons of stuff in your FFX and FFX-2 games :)

this tool is amazing
i had ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up my armor using zombie block on it.. along with auto remedy ouch
saved my game big THX
Is this still being developed? Like are there plans for more options? I hope so cause as much as I don't much play this game much any more tools like this make it more fun for me
I know this sort of tool is quite advanced (hence a lack of installation description) but i've run into an item bug in my game wherein an item i am supposed to have is not there, (see my post) and someone suggested I use this tool to add the item to the game. So I installed the files to the game directory and launched the exe. However when "select game process" pops up, the list is blank. Am I in over my head here or is this something a newb could learn to use?
You need to have the game running and loaded when you open the application. If you do have it open it should show in that list. Just start the game up and Alt-Tab and open the tool. Also, you don't need to run it from the same directory as the game.

Thank you very much! Got Rikku's mercury sigil and crest and was very disheartened when they did not show up in key items inventory. However, Im having trouble finding info on exactly how to pull this off once I get the thing started. I'd hate to screw anything up so I want to be sure I know exactly what I'm doing as i am pretty far into the game. Can anyone recommend a good tutorial site or video? Thanks again for the help!

Well let me say this much. Do NOT try to add the celestial weapons to the game. You can add the key items for them just fine(crests and sigils) and that saves you from some verry annoying minigames but the weapons themselves have to be gotten in game. Which annoyed the crap outta me for 1 or 2. You can in fact shorten the process a bit by doing a hack to the calm lands arena. Don't remember if the option for that is in this tool but if not you can do it via save editing with FFXED.You can also add the celestial mirror with this tool(or FFXED) as well though I still recommend getting that the legit way if only for the experience and to be safe. (Though I've personally never had a problem adding it directly)

Thank you. Solved the problem earlier today using this tool. It was much easier to use than I thought it would be. Very simple interface. The only other thing I did was add the Venus Sigil. I refuse to engage in the torturous task of dodging lightning 200 times. No. Anyway, kudos to the creator of this tool, very useful for sorting out bugs.
