Perfect sphere achievement
Has anyone else gotten this achievement? TBH, I did use the booster to get my spheres in, so I didnt have too take much time farming, but the achievement isn't showing up for me. I've gotten the grid filled with all characters and have also filled in all empty nodes.

After you ''complete'' a character's grid, open the menu up and see if ''Master Sphere'' is colored white. If it is, you didn't activate every node.

I got it the legitimate way, but at least 7 out of my 81 hours of playtime were spent in the sphere grid.

I got it.

You have to fill EVERY SINGLE SLOT with something - but you seem to already know that.

Just make sure to have a Master Sphere for "testing" to see if you missed something. If it's greyed out, you've done everything right.

It is grayed out. I think though that even if you light up all spheres, you still might have an empty node left, in which case master sphere wont work. Even so, I'm pretty positive that I've gotten all spheres lit up, as my characters stats match people who have perfect sphere grids, which is all characters having 99999 hp, 255 in str, def, mag, mag def, agility, and 170+ combined total of accuracy and evasion for each character.

That doesn't make any sense. So does the F1-F4 functions disable the Achievements?
Nothing disables the achievements. I watched Square stream the game before release and they confirmed that the boosters and parameter changes didn't disable achievements.
So why does the Achievements not trigger sometimes for me?

First thing that pops into my head is that you're not playing through steam. The game will launch regardless of whether steam is open or not. You can test this by exiting steam then running the game manually through the executables. No achievements will unlock if steam isn't running.
Or maybe you just aren't actually meeting all the requirements for an achievement.

in the past i have tried running games without steam running but they force steam to run and i KNOW i am fufiling the requirement for the achievements like first primer didn't trigger on the salvage ship the achievement for getting 0:00.00 in chocbo catcher didn't trigger when i won with that timeso the game is randomly disableling achievements

There's something wrong with your game or your system then. There's a few things you can try like disabling the steam overlay or validating your files. I've never had any problems with achievements, and you should actually try running these games without steam, they actually work without it for some reason, odd I know.

Close, but no cigar..

You would want to make sure all your locks are unlocked also. There's some locks that are sitting in stupid places that you could easily get to both sides from without unlocking them.

The easiest way to check is to save your game if you don't want boosters giving you stuff for free. (so you can reload after trying this.)
- Use the all items booster.
- Go into the sphere grid in question and see if any lock sphere or the Master sphere is available.
- If it is, click it to see what it's pointing at. And that's what you've missed.

- Reload your save.

That's a really good trick. You just helped me a lot!

You probably overlooked a node. Did the expert grid and was positive I filled in every node, but no achievement. After going in and SLOWLY panning the camera at full zoom I found a very awkward node that I had missed.
Xuhybrid Jun 7, 2016 @ 4:53am
Yeah, i looked it over for 5 minutes, It was a Luck node above Auto-Life (standard grid).

Validating my files never does anything i don't see why people suggest doing it

Got this for on my playthrough. Doesnt matter if youre using the booster. You have to make sure that all characters travel the the path not just activating the spheres.

Probably because SteamAPI isn't active.

This game lets you run it even when Steam hasn't identified the game as running. Every other Steam game in existence REQUIRES Steam to be running and know that the game is running, because it's part of the DRM system.

This game's thoroughly borked, you want the launcher to be running to make sure that Steam knows the game is running. Otherwise, it's no achievements (or Steam controller support).

I filled in the achievement with steam achievement manager, but I later found out that the culprit was a unhighlighted accuracy sphere in kimahri's grid...meh.
