Quickest way to reload a game?

Is there any way to load a game from within FFX? Or is the only way to exit the entire game, start the game, wait for the 3 title animations, hit start, and THEN hit load?

The reason being is that I'm cycling through Blitzball tourneys to get techs, and it's absolutely MADDENING since it takes about 10-30 reloads to get a tech that I want. =/

No load game feature in any of the FF games. You'd think this is something they would consider adding at one point, but no. As dumb as every Zelda game only having three save slots.

UnX + L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + Start + Select is the quickest.

Not much quicker than your solution, but it avoids a confirmation dialog and a few extra menus.
