P.S. You get the weapon for winning and not for 0.00. The 0.00 is for the Sigil.
chocobo under 0 seconds, 200 lighting strikes and chasing butterflies,
I had the original ps2 version and got all celestial weapons fully upgraded.
The patience I needed for that was unreal.
ffx-2 then came around the corner and turned out to be 75% minigames,
I guess the reason why people dislike X-2 is quite obvious as anyone would freak out if they had to endure that kind of hell with minigames in the first instalment, and then get a sequel that's pretty much all minigames.
Still worth the sense of feeling of achieving something tough.

btw, a good tip I read that helped me...at the beginning of the race, on that straightaway, never try to overtake the opponent by veering left. Instead veer towards the first balloon on the right side (your side), and that'll always put you ahead.
Each bird hit adds 3 seconds plus the time to recover. Each balloon takes off 3 seconds. So it's better to avoid a bird than to get hit and get a balloon in the process.
it is NOT WORKING!!
The minigame can be annoying but it isnt *that* hard, just look up some strategies on how to do it. For example, there are a few different starting spawns for the balloons, only one of them allows you to get the sigil.
